Well actually here is my artwork blog but since I loved cooking as well I tend to write some food related as well..bear with me ok?:)..this is the cupcakes order that I receive..

*sometimes I tend to experiment as well so any recommended recipes I may try as well

*note that decoration may vary time to time..it can depend on request as well but if it involves fruits or some expensive things the price may increase

Sister's birthday cake

This is a german chocolate cake...I made our normal chocolate cake recipe.Then I cut it in half and put the german chocolate ganache which was made from butter,milk,sugar,wallnuts/pecans,driedcoconut and vanilla..then I covered the cakr with italian meringue chocolate buttercream.Finally,pour over chocolate ganache over the cake!!!and decorate as I wish which I use cream cheese in this case..isn't it beautiful?

Trial spm exam

The question I chose was ayam serama di atas pokok tumbang dan ditepi sungai yg terdapat rumpai air...some people really know how ro use the wet on wet technique but for me I mixed all the techniques I know and it became like this...I finish in 2 and half hours ans start mingle around...

Btw I can't wait to finish my spm but really need to study then I can work yay..study!study!study!

ART OF DEBATING

Today,I feel like I want to share my experience about debating or bahas since I entered the BM ones.I thunk it's another type of art as well since more like oral art.It needs talent hard work and passion just like drawing.I t has been one of my other passion besides fine arts,beauty arts and cooking.Since I'm form 5 now,I already entered my school debating team for 3 years making me one of the seniors.The problem is now we don't have many juniors anymore since it's hard to find the right person with passion and compassion.

Basically,debate is made up of 3 people the prime minister/head opposition,2nd minister/opposition.3rd minister/opposition.

the sequence of talk is like this:-

Prime minister:
-he will open the case and the motion for that day,He will get an advantage only that if he didn't open the case clearly the team will fall easily.

head opposition:
-he will open a new concept and rejects all prime minister's concept but still in the same motion.
-his team is weak when the head opponent did not meet the government's motion.

2nd minister:
-he will give points to support the prime minister's concept and rejects the head opponent.

2nd opposition:
-he will open 2 points to support opposition and rejects the prime minister and the 2nd minister.

3rd minister:
-he needs to uphold the government stand and objects everything comes from the opposition to make sure all their points fall apart from the most important points to the not so important points.He needs to think fast and very careful to listen to every words that comes from the opposition's mouth.People said this is the hardest position as it can't be prepared earlier.This is my position..yes..it needs lots of training of listening ,fast writing and how to break the opponent's points in just a few seconds.
I've seen many people who stuck in the middle during their turn.It's not easy to find the right person for this position.

3rd opposition:
-he got the same work with 3rd minister only to objects all 3 speakers.

To debate,you need to have these qualities:
1.Passion about it.
2.tolerance within your team.
3.easy understanding of situation(easy to adapt)
4.wide knowledge
5.knowing the technique.
6.the language you can't use false language.
7.BRAVE
8.you can't stutter.
9.Quick response.
10.Quick thinking.
11.wide vocabulary.

I know it sounded a lot.yes it is.Once again I like complicated stuffs...silly me I guess I like challenges.Here I'll show you the pictures from our UIA debate championship.

1MALAYSIA mural

yay!I managed to snap another pic of the mural that I made with my friends after pmr.this one is rather smaller so it takes only about 3 days.Usually it is like this how my art teacher will give her design and I will improvise according to whether it is practical or not.Sometimes her design can be very wild so I'll cut it down here and there to make it possible.

This was made by using PELAKA I don't know if you've heard of it it's specially for mural paint.In our school we have a few cupboards filled with it.It is easier to work with rather than normal wall paint.This mural is located at the front of block A of our school.

I'm one of SPM candidates for 2011.FYI I'm actually a science stream student but I take arts as my extra subject since I loved it so that means I have strive extra hard since I have to do it on my own and ask for my teacher for guidance and thankfully my teachers and family gave their full support and within these months I managed to finish my 35+ artworks for my SPM.Here I'd like to share my folio for paper 3 so it may to help others as well.My school chose question 5 that is helmet designing.My folio has just been shown to the national head of pentaksir for our seni and visual.Alhamdulillah,I received good response.

*I just take some random japanese background and paste with 3d helmets for collections.Better if you print it at a print shop with glossy paper so it'd look shiny and nice

*okay I know it's quite weird helmets on water and forest.My initial idea was to use the background for the animals collection but then I got lazy  I just switch it..lol

*note:for the first 2 steps you can do it very creatively and think out of the box instead of just pasting pictures it'll give you more marks.

*this step is a must and I try to do it properly and show some skill by using oil paint that is rarely used for SPM standard but yes you need tons of practice to use oil paint.It is not an easy medium to work with.Here I showed that I've chose parrot as my motif

*yay I bought gold arcrylic it's so nice!!so I decided to use it for this too.actually I work backwords where I got the red design first but you have to show that you experimented with other colours as well.

here is where it shows that I chose this colour when I did all three parts of  it.hard work I know...depends if you are lazy or not

STEP 9.LUKISAN SEBENAR HASIL DARI 3 SUDUT BERBEZA

*many people got confused the kajian warna and lukisan sebenar please don't.It's 2 different thing.Kajian warna is something 2D but lukisan SEBENAR  is always 3D(at least ypu have to try I know mine isn't that 3D I think) but see the shadows that I did to make it looked more real.You just put the helmet in front of you at 3 different sides and try to draw it exactly like it.

*note:I paint a guy with a bike with china town as the background but you can't really see the helmet since it is small so here my point is actually when you use the helmet or should I draw the guy was actually riding the bike?silly me.

*note:this is another medium that I experimented with yes another hard medium to work with because it smudge very very very easily.After you're done don't ever touch it or it'll be ruined.Pastel is something like chalk.Here I wanted to show the helmet more instead of where you use it.Well it shows that you use it on your head.Furthermore,I wanted to show that I can do other than animals only which is portrait my original passion but this isn't my favorite portrait out of all that I've done but it's ok.

*note:this according my teacher will gain marks so I have to it very pastel colour so I made a perspective and the tools around it with a gradient background.I haven't write the list down yet.maybe later

*note:my teacher likes funky and funny things but I really failed on those things.I love arts but more to fine arts and real things I don't paint non-motif things or just modern paintings trust me I've tried and I sucked at it.Everytime it's free painting session I'm blank.So I just did what she asked me draw something funny with the tools well it turned out like this maybe ok but I prefer the above more.Another thing is pencil colour easy to use but takes a lot of time so I hate it.Finally I'm able to finish it.(with my sis's help)

*note:I know some people immediately use beach as the colour of skin but it'll not create the skin colour perfectly so you must mix your paint first before you start to paint.mix:1 portion of white,2/3 portion of beach,1/6 portion of brown,1/10 portion of red(this is approximate but you get the picture right mix until you get the right colour then you start to add in more dark colour at the shadow area and leave it white on the light area)

*note:at first I got this step the only thing on my mind was WTH?the steps also need to drawn out?but it's spm they don't have to be logicbut it does turned out well for me.I used water colour normal students will use pencil colour but I like to be different.Once again I tell you,GRADIENT the most important thing in painting.see the dark to light on the hands and shadows underneath it.It'll make the painting live.In my previous post I've said once that my ultimate secret in painting was gradient that will always make my artwork to win even if the design was so simple.How neat and the use of colour is the most important.

*note:first I sprayed the originally white helmet with black and metallic gold then I start to paint the design with acrylic but I need to do some touch up to the bird to make it more alive and more flows like fire.Nevertheless,the main picture is like this.After you're satisfied then you can spray it with clear spray.

This is most of my spm folio work.There's a few more that I need to work on but I think I can finish it up maybe by this week I hope before I fly to Europe.I hope anyone who takes arts for spm will enjoy these and maybe helped you guys a bit.Mine isn't 100% yet but for my folio I tried to do more than 1 artwork for each step so when they have 12 steps so you multiple it then my folio will have 30+ artwork!!!It's crazy I know,it's tiring I know but that's if you want to get high marks but you don't really have to so many like mine just do according to your teacher.Some of it usually the teacher will give it to you the copied ones but I don't really like it copied there'll no difference right?so I like to ask for guidance and do it myself.

STEP 13.HASIL KERJA DI ATAS TOPI KELEDAR SEBENAR(OPTIONAL)

yayyy!!!!finally I updated with the final product and folio!!my teacher said my first try on the helmet looked to cartoon so she doesn't likes it.She said it doesn't show my real talent so she wanted me to paint it more like a real parrot with fires so here it is.Just right before it is presented to the national head of examiners for SPM arts.Sorry for the big size of the helmet it is SIRIM helmet..lol..my dad..-.-

I saw my friends' helmets and they too looked really nice only that they haven't finished their folios I wished them good luck to finish it.I hope I have given a little guidance to them and to all SPM art takers for 2011.

I'll step down for now,I think I'll update with my next artwork maybe sometime after SPM?since things are getting hectic these days but I really hope you enjoy this post.

btw,I may take art orders after SPM later.I'll give out informations if I really decides to take orders for portraits,sceneries and others.

One thing for sure I'll accept any cupcake orders after spm since that's my other passion.I shared my recipes at my sister's blog liyanafoodpassion.
